WEST INDIAN AMERICAN LABOR DAY CARNIVAL

West Indian American Labor Day Carnival celebrates 45 years of fun and good times. West Indian American Labor Day Carnival still remains to be the biggest carnival in Northeast USA. All day people can be seen waving their flags, repping their country and culture.  Along Eastern Parkway you'll see flags from Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Grenada, Haiti, and other Caribbean nations.

The event always starts the weekend of Labor Day, Kiddie Carnival on Saturday, a Dimanche Gras  celebration (Sunday), and early Monday morning (kicking in around 3AM) J'Ouvert parade, a celebration of steel pan drums that kicks off the main parade beginning at 11AM.
